Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NELFE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NELFE data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher NELFE Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NELFE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ACC, STAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where NELFE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
