Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NELFA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NELFA data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NELFA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NELFA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and ACC are the cancer types where NELFA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
