Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEK4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NEK4 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NEK4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEK4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where NEK4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
