Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEDD9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NEDD9 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher NEDD9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEDD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and UVM are the cancer types where NEDD9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
