Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFS5P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NDUFS5P5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NDUFS5P5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFS5P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and ESCA show a favorable association.

LIHC, KICH, and HNSC are the cancer types where NDUFS5P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
