Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFB4P9 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NDUFB4P9’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where NDUFB4P9 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NDUFB4P9 is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRP are the cancer types where NDUFB4P9 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
