Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFB1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NDUFB1 data layer compared with 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher NDUFB1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and LUSC show a favorable association.

UVM, UCS, and ACC are the cancer types where NDUFB1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
