Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFB1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFB1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NDUFB1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and OV are the cancer types where NDUFB1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
