Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFAF5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFAF5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NDUFAF5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFAF5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD are the cancer types where NDUFAF5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
