Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFAF4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NDUFAF4 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 8 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher NDUFAF4 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFAF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and THCA show a favorable association.

ESCA, LIHC, and BRCA are the cancer types where NDUFAF4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
