Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFAF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFAF3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher NDUFAF3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFAF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
KICH and BLCA are the cancer types where NDUFAF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
