Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFA9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFA9 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NDUFA9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFA9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where NDUFA9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
