Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFA4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFA4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher NDUFA4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and LIHC are the cancer types where NDUFA4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
