Across TCGA patient cohorts, NDUFA4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,334 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NDUFA4-associated genes across cancer lineages are GJB1, SNAPC1, and LOXL2. Each is linked with NDUFA4 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NDUFA4-to-partner and partner-to-NDUFA4 results are reported.
