Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDUFA1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NDUFA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and ACC are the cancer types where NDUFA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
