Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDRG3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDRG3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher NDRG3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDRG3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where NDRG3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
