Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCOA2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NCOA2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NCOA2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCOA2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where NCOA2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
