Across TCGA patient cohorts, NCMAP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 21 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NCMAP-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1298P, RBMY3AP, and CPDP1. Each is linked with NCMAP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NCMAP-to-partner and partner-to-NCMAP results are reported.
