Across TCGA patient cohorts, NCLN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,810 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NCLN-associated genes across cancer lineages are CHRDL1, ADCY5, and NRXN2. Each is linked with NCLN in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NCLN-to-partner and partner-to-NCLN results are reported.
