Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCF4-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NCF4-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NCF4-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCF4-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, READ, and COAD are the cancer types where NCF4-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
