Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCBP2AS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NCBP2AS2 data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher NCBP2AS2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCBP2AS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and LUSC show a favorable association.
UVM, LIHC, and KIRC are the cancer types where NCBP2AS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
