Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCAPG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NCAPG2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NCAPG2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCAPG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where NCAPG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
