Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCAM2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NCAM2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NCAM2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCAM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where NCAM2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
