Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCAM1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NCAM1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher NCAM1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCAM1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and PAAD show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where NCAM1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
