Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAXE Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAXE data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NAXE Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAXE expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, READ, and PRAD are the cancer types where NAXE Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
