Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAT1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAT1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NAT1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.
COAD, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where NAT1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
