Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NARS1P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NARS1P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where NARS1P2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NARS1P2 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD are the cancer types where NARS1P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
