Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NARF-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NARF-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NARF-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NARF-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

KIRC, HNSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where NARF-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
