Across TCGA patient cohorts, NANS mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 356 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NANS-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNORD116-10, RNU6-933P, and DPY19L4P2. Each is linked with NANS in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NANS-to-partner and partner-to-NANS results are reported.
