Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAIP data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NAIP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where NAIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
