Across TCGA cell cohorts, NAGPA RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,200 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NAGPA-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Vacuolar transport, Multi-pass transmembrane protein insertion into ER membrane, and Lysosome organization. Each is linked with NAGPA in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NAGPA-to-partner and partner-to-NAGPA results are reported.
