Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAGA mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAGA data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher NAGA mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAGA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where NAGA mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
