Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NACA RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NACA data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NACA RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NACA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and BRCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, KIRP, and KICH are the cancer types where NACA RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
