Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAB1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAB1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher NAB1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAB1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
STAD, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where NAB1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
