Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MZT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MZT1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MZT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MZT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where MZT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
