Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYZAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYZAP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MYZAP Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYZAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, MESO, and SARC are the cancer types where MYZAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
