Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYT1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYT1L data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MYT1L RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYT1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and SKCM show a favorable association.

KICH, THCA, and MESO are the cancer types where MYT1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
