Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYT1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYT1L data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MYT1L mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYT1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where MYT1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
