Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYRIP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYRIP data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MYRIP mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYRIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MYRIP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
