Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYOZ3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYOZ3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MYOZ3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYOZ3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP and LUSC are the cancer types where MYOZ3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
