Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYOZ1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYOZ1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MYOZ1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYOZ1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, READ, and COAD are the cancer types where MYOZ1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
