Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYOF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYOF data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MYOF Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYOF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and KICH are the cancer types where MYOF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
