Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO9A RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYO9A data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MYO9A RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ESCA show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MYO9A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
