Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO9A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYO9A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MYO9A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO9A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MYO9A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
