Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO5B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYO5B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MYO5B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and CCRCC show a favorable association.

COAD, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where MYO5B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
