Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO5A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYO5A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher MYO5A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MYO5A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
