Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO1D RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYO1D data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MYO1D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

BLCA, KIRC, and READ are the cancer types where MYO1D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
