Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO1D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYO1D data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MYO1D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

MESO, BLCA, and OV are the cancer types where MYO1D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
