Across TCGA patient cohorts, MYLK protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,890 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MYLK-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL9, CNN1, and AOC3. Each is linked with MYLK in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MYLK-to-partner and partner-to-MYLK results are reported.
