Across TCGA patient cohorts, MYL9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,512 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MYL9-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASPN, ACTA2, and CALD1. Each is linked with MYL9 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MYL9-to-partner and partner-to-MYL9 results are reported.
